Cub Scout Target Sports Day

Registration is now open for 2023! Sign your Scout up here.

(We need volunteers to make this event a success. Please sign up here if you can help out.)

Join us at Camp Herms to practice your marksmanship skills! Cub Scouts can register NOW for either a full-day or half-day of marksmanship activities, including BB-guns, archery, slingshots, giant slingshots, Nerf guns, and more!

This second-annual Herms District Target Sports Day promises to be a fun time for both Cub Scouts and their adult partners. Last year’s event got great reviews from participating families and this year’s event promises to be even better!

We’re offering both full- and half-day programs of marksmanship activities for Cub Scouts. Both morning and afternoon sessions will offer the same activities, and the full-day program gives your Scout a chance to do everything twice!

Lunch is included in all registrations, as well as grab-and-go snacks at the midpoints of both the morning afternoon sessions.

WHEN: Saturday, April 1, 2023

WHERE: Camp Herms, 1100 James Place, El Cerrito, CA 94530

As stated in the BSA’s Age Appropriate Guidelines for Scouting, Lions and Tigers must be accompanied by an adult partner at all times during the event, and Lions will not be allowed to shoot BB-guns, although they can fully participate in archery, slingshots, and all other marksmanship activities at this event.
