Cub Scout Pack 104 Summer 2024 Schedule
Pack 104, based in El Cerrito’s Camp Herms, holds summer outdoor activities like hikes for scouts. Families are welcome to join and learn about Pack 104 before regular meetings resume in the fall.

June
Saturday, June 8: Huckleberry Preserve Hike
9:00am–12:00 pm
Huckleberry is a self-guided nature path. We will hike about 2 miles and learn about different plants and trees.

Saturday, June 22: Swim Day at El Cerrito Pool
12:30pm–2:00 pm
Scouts can take the BSA Swim Test, talk with a Lifeguard about water safety, and have fun during Family Swim.

Saturday, June 29: Wellness Trail Beautification with Urban Tilth
10:00 am–2:00 pm

July
Thursday, July 4: Pack 104 booth at WorldOne Festival at Cerrito Vista Park
11:00 am–5:00 pm
Visit our booth for kids’ activities and program information.

Saturday, July 13: Train to Sacramento
All Day
Ride the Amtrak to Sacramento and then enjoy a day exploring museums and historical sites.

Saturday, July 20: Urban Tilth CleanUp Day Option 2
10:00 am–2:00 pm
Every 3rd Saturday of the month: help clean and provide garden maintenance at Unity Park!

August
Sunday, August 4: Camp Herms Service Project
9:00 am–12:00 pm
Please bring work gloves, sun protection, and water. A breakfast snack and tools will be provided.

Saturday, August 17: Urban Tilth CleanUp Day Option 3
10:00 am–2:00 pm
Every 3rd Saturday of the month: help clean and provide garden maintenance at Unity Park!

Sunday, August 25: Big Rock Ridge Hike
9:00 am–12:00 pm.
We will hike 3-5 miles exploring the Big Rock Trail at the Lucas Valley Preserve in Marin County

September
Sunday, Sept 8: Nerf Games IX: Ready, Aim, Knot!
10:00 am–12:00 pm at Cerrito Vista Park
Join us in the upper picnic area. Kids will have an opportunity to learn knots and test their Nerf skills.

Friday-Sunday, September 20-22: Fall Family Campout
Pack 104’s fall campout will be at the Berryessa Ecocamp.
