Nerf Games VII—Yes, We Can Knot! | Jun 5, 2022 10am-12pm

Nerf Games is Pack 104’s primary outreach and recruitment event of year, where families with Cub Scout-age children are invited to join us for a morning of knot tying and Nerf shooting. Prospective Cubs have fun interacting with the current Cubs and older Scouts from local Troops, and parents have an opportunity to talk to adults from Pack 104 and learn more about our program.

Please see flier for the event below and encourage other parents and children within your network to consider attending this free event.

Nerf Games VI | August 29th 2021 Post-event Recap!

On Sunday, August 29th, Pack 104 hosted our annual recruiting event. There were many Pack 104 scouts and a fair number of new families who attended.

The more senior scouts were actively helping the younger scouts and potential scouts learn how to tie different knots. Each time a participant learned a new knot, he/she/they would earn nerf darts!

Examples of knots that were part of the day’s activities include bowline, taut line hitch, sheet bend, square knot, and two half hitch.

It was great to see so many people in attendance, and following good COVID practices and etiquette for control and prevention of the virus.
